It is 10 km from Süleymanpaşa. The economy of the village is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. In addition to these, greenhouse and irrigation, gardening, viticulture is seen in this region. There is a primary school in the village. The village has drinking water and sewerage network. There is a PTT branch and a PTT agency. There is a health center and a health home. The road that provides access to the village is asphalt and there is electricity and fixed telephone in the village. The population of 2019 is 553 people. After Tekirdağ gained the metropolitan status on December 6, 2012, all villages turned into neighborhoods.
